Vice rector and full professor of Sociology and Public Policy at Iscte, Former Defence Minister Helena Carreiras, will be the guest speaker for the conference Soldiers without enemies – Portuguese military in humanitarian crisis integrated in the International Conference Cycle on Humanitarian Action.
The event is organized within the scope of the Master’s Degree in Humanitarian Action and the Erasmus Mundus Human Response by the School of Sociology and Public Policy, Iscte Business School and Center for Research and Studies in Sociology.

Iscte co-director of the Master in Humanitarian Action Researcher at CIES-Iscte Joana Azevedo will introduce the guest speaker.

Research Professor at Iscte and former Secretary of State for Integration and Migration Cláudia Pereira will be the chair of the session.
