Vice rector and full professor of Sociology and Public Policy at Iscte, Former Defence Minister Helena Carreiras, was the guest speaker for the conference Soldiers without enemies – Portuguese military in humanitarian crisis integrated in the International Conference Cycle on Humanitarian Action.
The event was organized within the scope of the Master’s Degree in Humanitarian Action and the Erasmus Mundus Human Response by the School of Sociology and Public Policy, Iscte Business School and Center for Research and Studies in Sociology.
Iscte co-director of the Master in Humanitarian Action Researcher at CIES-Iscte Joana Azevedo introduced the guest speaker.
Research Professor at Iscte and former Secretary of State for Integration and Migration Cláudia Pereira was the chair of the session.
The session was held in a hybrid format.
Admission was free.
