✨ Strengthening the Erasmus Mundus Community at Iscte! ✨
Students from the three Erasmus Mundus programmes — Global Minds, Human Response, and MAGMa — who are completing their 2025/2026 1st semester at Iscte came together for a warm and dynamic gathering dedicated to connection, reflection, and community building.
Held at the end of the semester, this moment provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate shared achievements, exchange experiences, and prepare for the exciting stages ahead.
🌟 Event goals:
• Meet and connect with students from different Erasmus Mundus programmes
• Share personal stories and discover others’ journeys
• Participate in engaging activities and networking moments
• Help shape and strengthen the Erasmus community at Iscte
🎉 Activities included:
🌍 The Living Map — an interactive icebreaker showcasing the diverse origins and destinations of our students
🎨 Creative mural: “Our Erasmus Journey” — a collaborative space to express experiences, insights, and guidance for future cohorts
🤝 Networking sessions — fostering meaningful connections and community spirit
A special highlight: the event was facilitated by Global Minds alumna Erika Lorena Tavera, whose energy and commitment created a welcoming and inspiring space for all participants. This initiative was made possible with the support of Global Minds, in close articulation with Human Response, MAGMa, and the International Relations Office team of Iscte.
Designed especially for Erasmus Mundus students, this gathering showcased the power of diversity, dialogue, and shared experiences in enriching academic life.
