Mehmet Ali Üzelgün is a Research Fellow in the Communication and Culture research group at the Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology (CIES-Iscte) at the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. He is also an Invited Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication Sciences, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Lisbon, and an Associate Researcher at the Nova Institute of Philosophy (IFILNOVA) at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. His research explores diverse discursive and rhetorical features of environmental communication, specifically focusing on climate change risks and transitions.
