Vikram is the Head of the Department of Design at NTNU, focusing on design-driven innovations. He has been instrumental in creating an innovation ecosystem at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Currently, he is involved in developing digital solutions for addressing Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and integrating refugees into the Nordic-Baltic healthcare system. He has worked in the context of the base of the pyramid since 2005. With a PhD in Industrial Design Engineering from TU Delft, The Netherlands, he has trained several students to become entrepreneurs and address Sustainable Development Goals in emerging markets.
