Justus Twesigye is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration and the current Dean of the School of Social Sciences at Makerere University. He holds a PhD in mental health from Stellenbosch University, a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Botswana, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Makerere University. He is a specialist in mental health social work, crisis intervention, post-traumatic stress care and support, social entrepreneurship, fieldwork education, and social work research methods. He has previously served as the Makerere University Coordinator of the Joint Master Erasmus Mundus, MFAMILY program (in which Iscte was part of the consortium since 2013).
