PhD, humanitarian consultant and researcher in community psychology and anthropology. Her main topics of interest are refugee networks of solidarity, migration and climate justice. She worked for over 10 years in humanitarian settings as an MHPSS (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support) expert, developing and coordinating local projects in countries affected violence and conflict, mainly focusing on the safety, well-being and resilience of displaced communities. Since 2017, she has worked as a consultant in MHPSS project design, remote MHPSS training, and staff care support. She is a member of SCRA (Society for Community Research and Action) and ECPA (European Association of Community Psychology) and integrates the staff care advisor's roster of the Konterra Group . She collaborates with refugee-led associations UREP (Union of Refugees in Portugal) and Fórum Refúgio Portugal. She is an integrated researcher at the Center for Psychological Research and Social Intervention CIS-Iscte and a lecturer at the University of Algarve (Postgraduation in Humanitarian Action) and Iscte-IUL (Master in Humanitarian Action).
