Eria Serwajja is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Development Studies, Makerere University.  Holds a PhD in Development Studies, University Western Cape, and Master in Development Studies, NTNU. He is the coordinator of the Master on Coordinated Humanitarian Response, Health and Displacement. Has been a team member of several collaborative projects including (i) AidAccount Project with PRIO, MAK, NTNU, RAKO in Somalia, and other higher education Institutions (HEI); (ii) Sexual and Gender-based Violence in a Protracted Refugee Situation in Nakivale Refugee Settlement, Uganda: a collaboration between MAK, Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) and VUB in Belgium. Currently leads the Ugandan part of the EXPAND (Expanding the search for new ways of working along the Humanitarian-Development-Peace nexus] project: 2024-2028. The EXPAND partners include PRIO, MAK, NTNU, RAKO in Somalia, and other higher education Institutions (HEI) in the region.
