Veneranda Mbabazi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Religion and Peace Studies, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Makerere University - Uganda. She holds a PhD from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, and a Master of Arts in Development Studies from Uganda Martyrs University, Uganda. Mbabazi has been involved in and leading research projects including the uptake of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 in Uganda Building Bridges and Creating Social Cohesion for Harmonious Co-existence between Forced Migrants and Host Communities.
