Gloria Seruwagi is a Lecturer in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, School of Social Sciences at Makerere University. She has worked for over 15 years in settings affected armed conflict and forced migration. Since 2017, she has been the Course convenor for Refugees and Social Policy, a graduate course at Makerere University’s Department of Social Work and Social Administration. Principal Investigator for several humanitarian and development initiatives, including the EU/UNOPS-funded project Cross-border Opportunities for Migration, Peace and Self-Sustenance (COMPASS) in Uganda and South Sudan. Currently supporting research uptake on Baobab, an FCDO-funded humanitarian research programme consortium (RPC) in the East, Horn and Great Lakes (EHAGL) region of Africa.
